Revised Power Sunroof Motor Replacement Procedure

This bulletin is being issued to revise the Power Sunroof Motor Replacement procedure in the Roof sub-section of the appropriate Service Manual.
Revise the text of the Power Motor Replacement procedure to read as follows:
Power Sunroof Motor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1.
Lower the formed headliner at the rear in order to access the sunroof motor.
Refer to Headliner Replacement in the Interior Trim sub-section.
2.
If possible, close the sunroof glass panel before removal of the sunroof motor. This may also be performed using the manual sunroof operation
procedure.
Refer to Sunroof Manual Operation.
3.
Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the sunroof motor (1).
4.
Remove the fasteners (5) securing the sunroof motor (1) to the sunroof module (2).
Installation Procedure
Important:
A new replacement sunroof motor is in the fully closed and flush position at the factory.
