8. Pivot the caliper body upward.
9. Remove the inboard and outboard pads from the anchor bracket.
10. Remove and inspect the pad retainers.
11. Install a large C-clamp over the body of the brake caliper with the C-clamp ends against the rear of the caliper body and against an old inner brake
pad or a wood block installed against the caliper piston.
12. Tighten the C-clamp until the caliper piston is compressed completely into the caliper bore.
13. Remove the C-clamp and the old brake pad or wood block from the caliper.
Installation Procedure
Important: Do not attempt to clean away corrosion. Corrosion is typically caused by damaged pin boots.
