7. Remove the strut to knuckle bolts (3) and the nuts (1) in order to separate the strut from the steering knuckle (2).
8. Remove the strut from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the strut to the vehicle.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 3 strut mount fasteners.

Tighten the strut mount to body bolts to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).

3. Install the strut to steering knuckle bolts (3) and the nuts (1) in order to install the strut to the steering knuckle (2).
4. Connect the brake line to the strut on the left side.
5. Connect the speed sensor to the bracket strut.
