5. Install the valve body to channel plate bolts (1,2 and 3) to specifications.
Notice: Use a torque wrench to tighten the pump to valve body bolts. Do not exceed the torque specifications.
Notice: Install all the valve body bolts, then torque the bolts in a spiral pattern starting from the center, as shown. If you torque the bolts at random,
you may distort the valve bores. This will inhibit valve operation.
Important Do not use impact type tools on the valve body or the pump assembly.
6. Install the oil pump.
7. Install the wiring harness.
8. Install the case side cover.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
10. Adjust the oil level.
