BELT, REPLACE

1. Release belt tension and remove belt from power steering and alternator pulleys. Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover and between

power steering pulley and engine mount bracket.

2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Turn wheel to the extreme right and remove right side splash shield.
4. Remove belt from crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys. Twist belt to get between idler pulley and engine mount bracket.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Twisting new belt to get past the front cover, install belt around power steering pump pulley, Fig. 15. Allow belt to hang free. 
7. Twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around alternator.
8. Remove belt from power steering pulley and set aside.
9. Raise and support vehicle, then twist belt to get between tensioner and front cover, wrap belt around crankshaft and A/C compressor pulleys.

10. Install right side splash shield and lower vehicle.
11. Position belt around power steering pulley and release tensioner.
