Map Light: Description and Operation
Voltage for the rearview mirror lamps is supplied from the HORN/DM Fuse through the ORN (240) wire. Ground is provided by the door jamb switch
through the WHT (156) wire and ground is also provided through the BLK (150) wire from ground G102. Voltage for the illuminated entry and delay
portion of the system is supplied by the IGN/GAU Fuse through the PNK/BLK (39) wire. The voltage and ground sources are connected to a
solid-state timer device located with the mirror. The timer controls the lamps. The compass is also powered through the IGN/GAU Fuse and the
PNK/BLK (39) wire.
