ELECTRIC SHIFT MOTOR REPLACEMENT

Transfer Case Electric Shift Motor

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.

Raise vehicle and support with safety stands.

2. Transfer case shield.
3. Motor electrical connection.
4. Front propeller shaft.
5. Front output shaft yoke.
6. Motor to transfer case bolts.
7. Motor from the transfer case.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Motor to the transfer case.
2. Bolts.

TIGHTEN

Bolts to 18 Nm (13 lbs. ft.).

3. Front output shaft yoke.
4. Front propeller shaft.
5. Motor electrical connection.
6. Transfer case shield.
7. Negative battery cable.

Lower Vehicle
