Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

Description
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Open the endgate or liftgate.
3. Screws that retain the tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
4. Tail lamp assembly from the vehicle.
5. Bulb sockets from the tail lamp assembly by rotating them 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
6. Bulb(s) from the socket(s).
Install or Connect
1. Bulb(s) to the socket(s).
2. Bulb sockets to the tail lamp assembly by rotating them 1/4 turn clockwise.
3. ail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
4. Screws that retain the tail lamp assembly to the vehicle.
Tighten
^
Screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).
5. Negative battery cable.
