1. Control cable to the vehicle.

Route the cable through the floor.
2. Control cable to the shift lever retainer.
3. Screws securing the control cable to the floor panel.

Tighten:

Control cable floor panel screws to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.).

Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Slide the control cable into the bracket.
5. Control cable to the bracket retainer.
6. Control cable to the transfer case lever.
Adjust
-
Transfer case control cable.
7. Transfer case Shield.

Lower the vehicle.
8. Control lever end to the shift lever.
9. Front floor console.
10. Shift lever knob and retainer.
