a. High idle speed due to a vacuum leak.
b. Oil leaks from the separator or hose.

DIAGNOSIS:

If oil sludging or leaks are noted, verify that the CV oil/air separator is not plugged. This may be done by verifying that the smaller nipple can have air
blown through or check that a 1.52mm or .060" plug gauge will fit into the orfice inside the nipple.  If plugged, replace the CV oil/air separator
assembly.
