Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair
Air Induction System
AIR FILTER ELEMENT
REMOVAL:
1.
Remove the air cleaner cover.
2.
Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, water and replace if required.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Install the filter element and cover.
AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL:
1.
Remove the bolt from the air cleaner assembly lower bracket.
2.
Remove the bolt securing the air cleaner to the throttle body.
3.
Remove the air cleaner assembly and duct.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Position the air cleaner assembly to the throttle body (ensure that the seal is in place on the throttle body).
2.
Install the bolt at the throttle body.
3.
Install the bolt to the lower bracket.
