This bulletin cancels and supersedes 89-T-134.
Some 1989-90 Cutlass Ciera and Cutlass Calais models equipped with a 3300 engine, (VIN N), may experience a condition described as engine does not
stay running on initial cold start and/or experience poor cold engine performance.
If these conditions are experienced on a vehicle when the basic engine controls and systems are performing properly, and cannot be repaired by using
currently published service and diagnostic procedures, it may be necessary to install a new service Mem-Cal.
New service Mem-Cals are currently available through GMSPO under the following part numbers.
