Drill a 1/8" hole through both the metal bracket and the plastic trim plate as shown in Figure 2 (hole can be located on either side of the center
rib).
3.
Install a standard 1/8" X 1/2" pop rivet as shown.
4.
Assemble the trim plate assembly to the armrest and install in the vehicle.
