Remove engine as outlined in ``Engine, Replace.''

Remove intake manifold.
3.
Remove rocker arm covers.
4.
Remove rocker arms, shaft assemblies(if applicable), push rods and valve lifters.
5.
Remove timing chain cover.
6.
Align timing marks of camshaft and crankshaft sprocket. This avoids burring of camshaft journals by crankshaft during removal. Remove timing
chain and sprocket and the cam sensor magnet assembly, if applicable.
7.
Slide camshaft forward out of bearing bores, using care so as not to damage bearing surfaces.
8.
Reverse procedure to install. When installing camshaft, align crankshaft and camshaft timing marks as shown in Fig. 10.
