Door Armrest Pad - Dislodges When Door Is Slammed

Delta 88 models with passive belts (automatic safety belts) may experience a condition with armrest pads coming loose or falling off when the door is
closed. This may occur on cars built prior to midMarch, 1987. These can be identified by the absence of a fastener at the rear face of the armrest pad.
To correct the above condition, the following procedure should be used:
1.
Remove armrest.

2.. Cut out the armrest base template (furnished) and lay in place as shown in Figure 1.
