3. Install gasket to cylinder heads.
4. Install seals to block, Refer to Fig. 1
5. Install intake manifold.
6. Lubricate bolts with engine oil. Tighten bolts in sequence as shown in Fig. 2. Tighten to 20 N-m (15 lbs. ft.) then tighten to 54 N-m (40 lbs.ft.).
7. Connect EGR valve. Tighten bolts to 34 N-m (25 lbs. ft.). Bend over lock tabs.
8. Connect CCC solenoid assembly and Idle Load Compensator and bracket assembly.
9. Connect electrical leads.
10. With AC, connect compressor rear brace.
11. Install generator rear brace.
12. Install T.V. and throttle cables.
13. Connect A.I.R., vacuum, fuel, heater and upper radiator hoses.
14. Install air cleaner.
15. Fill radiator.
16. Adjust drive belts with J23600 Belt Tension Gage.
17. Inspect for leaks.
