CONDITION: Ashtray mounted in instrument panel inoperative.
CAUSE:
1. Release spring and/or retainer broken.
2. Latch mounting bracket bent.
CORRECTION:
1. For 1988 through 1990 models replace complete assembly with new P/N 10152934
