Function Controller (BFC) and is used to wake-up the Body Function Controller (BFC) from a low power mode and must be detected when ignition
power is inactive (off). The Body Function Controller (BFC) also sends the information out on the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) to the Instrument
Cluster to light the Door Ajar Symbol Indicator. On, is displayed when the door is open. Off, is displayed when the door is closed.

Passenger Door Ajar Switch - Range Yes/No

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input in determining the state of the front Passenger Door and both Rear Doors. On, is displayed when
either the front passenger or either rear door is open. Off, is displayed when the front passenger and both rear doors are all closed.

Front Fog Lamp Switch - Range Yes/No

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input in determining whether the Fog Lamps have been requested. When the Fog Lamps Switch is
pressed once, the Fog Lamps shall be illuminated providing:

Ignition 1 is active (Ignition Switch is in RUN or in CRANK).

^

Low Beams and/or Park Lamps on.

^

High Beam Headlamps are off.

Pressing the Fog Lamps Switch a second time, turns off the Fog Lamps. On, is displayed whenever the Fog Lamps Switch is pressed once. Off, is
displayed whenever the Fog Lamps Switch is pressed a second time. 

NOTE:  When the High Beam Headlamps are on, the Fog Lamps will be off. When this occurs the Fog Lamp Switch display will remain on until, the
Fog Lamp Switch is pressed a second time.

Ambient Light Sensor - Range Light/Dark

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input in determining whether the ambient light level is light or dark. The Body Function Controller (BFC)
uses this information in the operation of the Automatic Light Control (ALC) and the Day Time Running Lights (DRL) features. Light, is displayed when
the Body Function Controller (BFC) considers the ambient light to be light. Dark, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) considers
ambient light to he dark. Refer to Data -Ambient Light Sensor Voltage.  See: Scan Tool Data/Data/Ambient Light Sensor Voltage - Range 0 - 2.6 V

LO Beam/DRL Feedback - Range LO Beam/DRL on or LO Beam/DRL Off

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input is determining the state of the Low Beam Headlamps. A single wire input into the Body Function
Controller (BFC) monitors the low beam lamp voltage. Low Beam/DRL On, is displayed when either the low beam or DRL lights are illuminated. Low
Beam/DRL Off, is displayed when both the low beam and DRL illumination is off. Refer to Low Beam Input.  See: Scan Tool Data/Data/Low Beam
Input - Range 0 - 16 V

High Beam Feedback - Range High Beams On / High Beams Off

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input in determining the state of the High Beam Headlamps. A single wire input into the Body Function
Controller (BFC) monitors the High Beam Headlamp Voltage. High Beams On, is displayed when the High Beams are illuminated. High Beams Off, is
displayed when the High Beams are not illuminated. Refer to High Beam Input.  See: Scan Tool Data/Data/High Beam Input - Range 0 - 16 V

Seatbelt - Range Buckled/Unbuckled

The Body Function Controller (BFC) uses this input in determining the state of the Driver's Seatbelt. Buckled, is displayed when the Seatbelt is fastened.
Unbuckled, is displayed when the Seatbelt is not fastened.

Interior Lamp Output - Range on /Off

This output displays the state the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the interior lamps (or Courtesy Lamps). On, if the Body Function
Controller (BFC) is commanding the interior lights to be illuminated. Off, if the Body Function Controller (BFC) is commanding the interior lights not to
be illuminated. The interior lights are commanded on under the following conditions:

1. If any of the doors a  open and the vehicle speed is less than 20 mph.
2. If the Ignition Switch has been OFF for less than 2 minutes and then the doors are closed, the lights will stay on for 4 seconds (or until the ignition

is turned on).

3. If the Ignition Switch has been OFF for more than two minutes and then the doors are closed, the lights will stay on for 40 seconds (or until the

ignition switch is turned on).

4. If the Ignition Switch has been OFF for less than 2 minutes and the ignition key is removed the lights will turn on for 15 seconds (or until the key

is re-inserted or a door open switch is cycled).

5. If an Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter button is pressed to unlock the doors, open the trunk, or initiate Panic.

When the interior lights are to be turned off because a customer is leaving the vehicle (Ignition Switch in the OFF position for more than 2 minutes),
they are first (step) dimmed, held that way for a short period of time, then theater dimmed to the off state.

Front Foglamp Relay - Range on /Off

This output displays the state the Body Function Controller (BFC) is controlling the ground path for the Fog Lamp Relay coil, turning the Fog Lamps
illumination on or off. On, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is grounding the Fog Lamp Relay and commanding the Front Fog
Lamps to be illuminated. Off, is displayed when the Body Function Controller (BFC) is opening the ground to the Fog Lamp Relay and commanding the
