Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE 

1. Remove the master cylinder.

NOTICE: Do not clamp on master cylinder body. Doing so may damage the master cylinder.

2. Clamp the flange of the master cylinder body in a vise.

3. Remove the spring pins (2) by using a suitable 1/8 inch punch (4) to drive them out.

Use care not to damage the reservoir (1) or cylinder body (3) when driving out the spring pins.

4. Remove the master cylinder reservoir by pulling straight up and away from the master cylinder body.
