Camshaft Bearing: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement.
2. Remove the camshaft rear bearing hole plug.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Coat the camshaft rear bearing hole plug with sealer. Use GM sealer P/N 1052080 or the equivalent.
2. Install the camshaft rear bearing hole plug.
3. Install the flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement.
