Cutlass V6-191 3.1L VIN M SFI (1998)
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the front seat retractor side belt bolt (6).
Tighten
Tighten the front seat retractor side belt bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb. ft).
4. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide (7).
5. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track (1).
6. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track cover (2).
7. Install the front seat retractor side belt bolt.
8. Inspect the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover for broken tabs. Replace the cover if the tabs are broken.
9. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide adjuster cover (3).
10. Install the front seat retractor side belt bolt (5).
Tighten
Tighten the front seat retractor side belt bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb. ft).
11. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel in Rear Quarters.
12. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel in Rear Quarters.
13. Inspect the seat belt assembly for proper operation. Refer to Operational and Functional Checks.
