1. Install the steering knuckle (3) into the strut (1) and install the steering knuckle-to-strut assembly bolts (6).

Tighten

Tighten the steering-knuckle-to-strut assembly nuts (2) to 180 N.m (133 lb ft).

2. Install the hub and bearing assembly onto the knuckle and install the hub and bearing assembly bolts. Refer to Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal

Replacement.

3. Install the lower ball joint nut (6) and cotter pin (7).

Tighten
-

Tighten the lower ball joint nut to 55 N.m (41 lb ft) minimum, 65 N.m (50 lb ft) maximum, in order to install the cotter pin.

4. Check the front wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications.
