Door Locks: Description and Operation
Door Lock Striker

The door lock striker consists of a single metal bolt and washer assembly that is threaded into a tapped, floating cage plate located in the body lock
pillar. The door is secured in the closed position when the door lock fork bolt snaps over and engages the striker bolt. The striker has provisions for fore
and aft adjustment only.
