Water Pump: Service and Repair
Fig. 19 Water Pump Assembly Replacement
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain cooling system.
2. Remove vacuum line from top of coolant pump.
3. Remove serpentine drive belt, then water pump pulley.
4. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then water pump, Fig. 19.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten all bolts/nuts to specifications.
