CONDITION
General Motors has determined that certain 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera vehicles may not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
(FMVSS) 106. The brake hose on these vehicles were manufactured incorrectly. These vehicles may experience reduced brake effectiveness and/or
uneven braking, and a vehicle crash could occur without prior warning.
To prevent these conditions from occurring, dealers are to inspect the right front brake hose assembly and record the date code on the hose assembly. If
the date code falls within the specified range, dealers are to replace the right front brake hose assembly.
