Cutlass Ciera V6-3300 3.3L MFI VIN N (1993)
5. T.V. cable from transaxle and pivot.
6. Install J 28467-A and J 36462.
7. Rear powertrain mount nuts at transaxle bracket.
8. Transaxle mount bracket retaining nuts, bolts and bracket.
9. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
10. Left front wheel and tire assembly.
11. Left side engine splash shield.
12. Rear powertrain mount.
13. Lower cover bolts/screws.
14. Lower vehicle.
15. Upper cover bolts/screws.
16. Cover and gasket.
CLEAN
^
Ribbed surface of cover and machined surface of case. Both surfaces MUST be free of transaxle fluid.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Gasket on case with silicone bead facing out.
2. Cover and new gasket.
3. Upper cover bolts/screws.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolts/screws to 11 Nm (98 lb. in.).
IMPORTANT
^
Rib on cover must fully contact the entire silicone bead.
4. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
5. Lower cover bolts/screws.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolts/screws to 11 Nm (98 lb. in.).
6. Rear powertrain mount.
7. Left side engine splash shield.
8. Left front wheel and tire assembly.
9. Lower vehicle.
10. Transaxle mount bracket and retaining bolts and nuts.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolts/screws to 55 Nm (41 lb. ft.).
11. Rear powertrain mount nuts to transaxle bracket.
TIGHTEN
^
Nuts to 48 Nm (35 lb. ft.).
12. Remove J 28467-A and J 36462.
13. T.V. cable to transaxle and pivot.
14. Transaxle cooler pipes to transaxle.
15. Shift control cable to transaxle.
16. Shift control cable to lever and bracket.
17. Air cleaner and duct assembly.
ADJUST
^
Fluid level.
