Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Assembly
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Electrical connector, vacuum line from Evaporative Emission (EVAP) solenoid valve.
3. Release lock tab on solenoid bracket. Remove Evaporative Emissions purge solenoid valve from bracket.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. EVAP purge solenoid valve to the engine bracket. Snap the EVAP purge solenoid valve down over the lock tabs of bracket.
2. Vacuum line and electrical connector on solenoid.
3. Negative battery cable.

Refer to "Vehicle Emission Control Information" label for routing of evaporative emission hoses.
