Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Drain cooling system.
2. Remove serpentine drive belt.
3. Remove rear power steering pump bracket.
4. Remove heater hose at coolant pipe.
5. Remove power steering pump retaining bolts, position power steering pump over rear rocker arm cover.
6. Remove blower motor electrical connectors.
7. Remove vent tube.
8. Remove blower motor retaining screws and blower motor.

Installation

1. Install blower motor and retaining screws.
2. Install vent tube.
3. Install electrical connectors to blower motor.
4. Install power steering pump to proper position and install retaining bolts.
5. Install heater hose at coolant pipe.
6. Install rear power steering pump bracket.
7. Install serpentine drive belt.
8. Fill cooling system.
