Steps 3 and 4 are necessary only if the separated or bubbled vinyl covering in the defroster duct area will not allow the grille to seat
properly..

Carefully cut the instrument panel vinyl along the center of the area between the defroster ducts. Refer to Figure 1.

4.

Prior to defroster grille installation use a small amount of trim adhesive such as 3M 08031 or equivalent to fasten loose vinyl covering to the
instrument panel. Refer to Figure 1.
