Level Control Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection
No Exhaust

On models equipped with DFI, reset the cycle of the ELC system by turning ignition ``On,'' moving gear selector lever from ``Park'' to ``Reverse''
and back to ``Park.'' On all other models, cycle ignition ``Off'' then ``On.''
a. Using a suitable test light, check for power at orange wire to the exhaust solenoid. If no power exists, trace circuit back through fuses and
repair or replace faulty wires or fuses and proceed to step b. If power exists, proceed to step b.
b. Remove solenoid connector, then apply 12 volts and a suitable ground to solenoid terminals. If solenoid exhaust valve opens, inspect white
wire for opens. If no opens exist, test height sensor. Refer to ``Height Sensor Operational Test.'' If solenoid exhaust valve does not open,
replace solenoid exhaust valve and retest system.
