Ash Tray: Service and Repair
Front Floor Console Ashtray
Remove or Disconnect
1. Raise front floor console armrest.
2. Rear front floor console ashtray and steel flame plate.
3. Loosen screws inside front floor console ashtray area.
4. Pry sides of base apart.
5. Front floor console armrest at rear hinge area, from between base halves.
Install or Connect
NOTICE: Refer to Service Precautions.
1. Position and hold front floor console armrest with two plastic hinge pieces located correctly to base halves.
2. Squeeze base halves together, checking that hinge pieces are correctly located.
3. Steel frame plate by retightening rear screws.
Tighten

Screws to 1.7 N.m (15 lb. in.).
4. Front floor console ashtray.
5. Lower front floor console armrest.
