Brake Drum: Testing and Inspection
NOTE: Pulsation in the brake pedal is usually corrected by servicing the front brakes. Service the rear brakes only if the problem persists.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION

When brake drums are removed, thoroughly clean and inspect them for cracks, scores, deep grooves out-of-round and taper.

Normal light scoring of the brake drum surfaces not exceeding 0.51 mm (0.020 inch) in depth will not affect brake operation.
