Condition
Some owners may comment that the power mirrors, power door locks and/or power antenna are inoperative. The # 19 fuse may be blown. Normal
troubleshooting may fail to find the cause of the problem and replacing the fuse will temporarily fix the condition. All 1995, and some early 1996 models
with power mirrors, may have this condition.
Cause
An internal condition in the power mirror switch may cause a short circuit under certain hard use situations.
Correction
The switch design was changed to correct this condition. The build date for the switch improvements was 5167. The part number was not changed.
Replace the switch with a new one, P/N 12529760, checking the date code to insure that it is 5167 or higher.
