Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair

Throttle Cable In Engine Compartment
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Lower instrument panel trim attaching screws, retaining clip and lower instrument panel trim.
2. Accelerator cable from accelerator pedal.
3. Squeeze accelerator cable cover tangs and push cable through dash panel (bulkhead).
NOTICE: The throttle body cam is made of plastic and is spring loaded. Care should be taken not to damage accelerator cable cam on throttle
body when removing cable.
