Coding the Transmitter(s)

Coding The Transmitter

1. Open rear compartment lid and position carpet (next to the antenna) aside.

2. Access the program wire terminal.

3. Using a jumper wire with alligator clips, ground the wire terminal to the antenna.

The door locks will automatically lock and unlock, indicating that the transmitter is in the programming mode.

Note: Any transmitter that was previously matched, has been erased.

4. With the system still grounded, press any button (only once) on the transmitter.

The door locks will automatically lock and unlock, indicating that the transmitter code has been set.

Note: Pressing the button more than once prevents a second transmitter from being programmed. If this mistake is made and you wish to program a
second transmitter, unground wire and repeat steps 3 and 4.

5. If coding a second transmitter, repeat step 4.

6. Remove jumper wire.

The system will not operate if the jumper wire is not removed.

7. Verify operation of the transmitter(s).

8. Properly position the carpet.
