Cutlass Supreme FWD V6-204 3.4L DOHC (1991)
INSTALLATION:
1.
With the throttle valve closed, install the throttle shaft cover, position the TPS on the throttle shaft, then align both the TPS and throttle shaft cover
with the mounting holes.
NOTE: The hardware used to attach the throttle position sensor is factory coated with a thread-locking adhesive. If the TPS is removed for
service, inspect the attaching screw threads for thread-locking material. If there is not enough thread-locking material (adhesive or compound) on
the threads to ensure proper re-locking, clean the screw threads and apply Loctite 262 or equivalent to the screw threads before reassembly.
2.
Install the TPS attaching screws and tighten to 2.0 Nm (18 lb.in).
3.
Connect the TPS electrical connector.
