Seat Heater: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times to the Heated Seat Control Module through the HTD STS DRV and HTD STS PASS Fuses and through the IGN
(RUN/CRANK) CHIME fuse with the Ignition Switch in RUN. When LO is pressed on the Heated Seat Switch, the Heated Seat Control Module LO
input terminal is momentarily grounded. This causes the Heated Seat Control Module to apply voltage to the front seat heaters. The Heated Seat Control
Module monitors the seat surface temperature through a thermistor and maintains a pre-determined temperature.

HI temperature operation is similar to LO, except the Heated Seat Control Module maintains the seat surface temperature at a higher pre-determined
temperature.

when the OFF switch is pressed on the Heated Seat Switch, the Heated Seat Control Module OFF input terminal is momentarily grounded. This causes
the Heated Seat Control Module to stop applying voltage to the front seat heaters. The module will also turn off the heated seats whenever the ignition
switch has been turned OFF.
