Oil Pan: Service and Repair
Overhead Cam
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle.
3.
Remove right front wheel and righthand splash shield.
4.
Remove lower A/C bracket strut rod bolt and swing aside.
5.
Remove flywheel dust cover.
6.
Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold or waste gate, as required.
7.
Drain engine oil, remove oil pan bolts and oil pan.
8.
Reverse procedure to install. Using a suitable sealer, coat threads of oil pan bolts. Torque bolts to 4 ft. lbs.
