Isuzu

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Place shift lever in third gear position, then remove lock pin (H), Fig. 8, and reinstall with tapered end of pin facing downward to lock transaxle in
third gear.

3.

Loosen shift cable retaining nuts (E) at levers (G) and (F), Fig. 8.

4.

Remove console trim plate and pull shifter boot upward on shift lever.

5.

Remove console assembly from vehicle.

6.

Insert a 5/32 inch drill bit into align hole on side of shifter assembly, Fig. 8.

7.

Align shifter lever slot with slot in shifter plate, then insert a 13/16 inch drill bit.

8.

Tighten nuts (E) at levers (G) and (F), Fig. 8, then remove drill bits from alignment holes.

9.

Remove lock pin (H), Fig. 8, and reinstall with tapered end facing upward.

10.

Install console assembly and connect battery ground cable.

11.

Check shifter for proper operation and readjust as necessary.
