Fuel Door Release Actuator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Fuel Filler Door Release Actuator Replacement: Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Pull back rear compartment trim panel.
3. Open fuel filler door.
4. Remove the nut from the fuel filler door actuator cable.
5. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the fuel filler pocket.

6. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the hole in wheelhouse.
7. Remove the bolt from the fuel filler actuator bracket.
8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel filler actuator.
9. Remove the fuel filler door actuator cable from the actuator.

10. Remove the fuel filler actuator from the bracket.
