Glove Compartment Lock: Service and Repair
Instrument Panel Compartment Striker Adjustment
1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
2. Loosen the nuts retaining the IP compartment door latch to the IP.
3. Adjust the position of the IP compartment striker as required for proper fit of the IP compartment door.
4. Tighten the IP compartment door latch retaining nuts.
Tighten
Tighten the IP compartment door latch retaining nuts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
5. Close the IP compartment door, and check the fit of the door to the IP trim pad. Repeat procedure if necessary.
