Brake Warning Indicator: Description and Operation
The brake system uses a single red BRAKE warning lamp that is located in the instrument panel cluster. The BRAKE lamp should come ON when the
ignition switch is in the START position. The BRAKE warning lamp should go OFF when the ignition switch returns to the RUN position. The
following conditions will activate the BRAKE warning lamp:

The lamp should be ON when the parking brake is applied and the ignition switch is ON.

The fluid level sensor detects a low fluid level. Refer to Master Cylinder Fluid Level Sensor Replacement
