J 36660 Electronic Torque Angle Meter
1. Use compressed air in order to blow oil out of the tapped holes in the cylinder head.
2. Install the push rod(s) to the same position the push rod(s) was removed from.
3. Install the push rod guide plate(s).
4. Install the valve rocker arm(s).
5. Apply GM P/N 12345493 threadlocker or equivalent to the rocker arm bolt threads
NOTICE: This bolt is designed to permanently stretch when tightened. The correct part number fastener must be used to replace this type of
fastener. Do not use a bolt that is stronger in this application. If the correct bolt is not used, the parts will not be tightened correctly. The system or
the components may be damaged.
6. Install the rocker arm bolt(s).

Tighten the valve rocker arm bolt(s) to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). Use the J 36660 in order to rotate the bolts an additional 90 degrees.
