5. Cut the tie strap (1) on the back side of the mode valve vacuum actuator.
6. Carefully rotate the mode vacuum actuator towards the front of the vehicle until the mode vacuum actuator is released from the mounting pins on
the HVAC module.
7. Disconnect the mode vacuum actuator push rod from the mode valve lever and remove the mode vacuum actuator.
