Heater Hose: Service and Repair
Outlet Pipe Adapter

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. 
2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair.

3. Remove the heater outlet hose from the pipe adapter.
4. Use J 38185 in order to position aside the heater hose clamp.

5. Remove the pipe adapter mounting bolt.
6. Remove the pipe adapter.

Installation Procedure

1. Lubricate the O-ring.
2. Install the pipe adapter.
