Tail Lamp Replacement: Installation Procedure

1. Install the bulb to the socket, if removed.
2. Install the taillamp socket to the taillamp assembly, if removed, then rotate the lamp socket clockwise to secure.
3. Install and secure the taillamp assembly wiring harness to the rear body panel, if removed.
4. Carefully align and install the taillamp assembly to the rear body panel.
5. Apply light pressure to the lens to retain the lamp in position during installation of the plastic wingnut retainers.
6. Connect the electrical connector to the tail lamp assembly, if disconnected.
7. Install the taillamp assembly plastic wingnut retainers, which will be hidden by the rear compartment trim panel.
8. Install the corner of the rear compartment trim panel into position.
9. Install the taillamp remaining plastic wingnut retainer.

10. Install the rear compartment convenience net, if equipped, to the plastic wingnut retainers.
11. Close the rear compartment lid.
