4. Connect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector to the sensor (7).
5. Connect the quick-connect fittings at the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Line Coupler Service (Metal Collar).
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Tighten the fuel filler cap.
8. Inspect for leaks.
8.1. Turn the ignition switch ON for 2 seconds.
8.2. Turn the ignition switch OFF for 10 seconds.
8.3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON.
8.4. Check for fuel leaks.
9. Reinstall the fuel sender access panel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
10. Install the (7) nuts retaining the fuel sender access panel.

Tighten the fuel sender access panel nuts to 10 N.m (88 lb in)
11. Reinstall the trunk liner.
12. Reinstall the spare tire, the jack, and the spare tire cover.
13. Reinstall the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair.
