Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING THE SIR SYSTEM in SIR.
2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to STEERING WHEEL INFLATOR MODULE REPLACEMENT.
3. Disconnect the steering wheel controls using a small flat-blade tool.
4. Pry out the steering wheel controls at the lower edge of the switches.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Connect the steering wheel controls to the steering wheel.
2. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to STEERING WHEEL INFLATOR MODULE REPLACEMENT.
3. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ENABLING THE SIR SYSTEM in SIR.
