Rear Door Power Window Switch Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:

When removing a door trim panel or a switch plate, the ignition switch must be in the OFF position. This will eliminate the possibility of shorting
out the switch if a flat-bladed tool, awl or metal object is used to remove the switch from the harness.

Protect the trim panel at the point of insertion of the flat bladed tool to avoid damaging the door panel.

Rear Door Power Window Switch Replacement: Removal Procedure

1. Remove the power window/power door lock switch mounting plate using a small flat- bladed tool. Insert the tool at the rear of the switch mounting

plate releasing the switch plate retainer.

2. Lift the rear of the switch plate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove the switch(s) from the mounting plate.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Rear Door Power Window Switch Replacement: Installation Procedure

1. Install the switch(s) to the mounting plate. Press down on the switch until the tabs are fully seated.
2. Connect the electrical connector(s).
3. Insert the front of the mounting plate into the trim panel.
4. Press down on the rear of the mounting plate until the plate is fully seated.
