Ride Height Sensor: Service and Repair
Height Sensor and Bracket
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
3. Electrical connector from body harness.
4. Link from actuating arm.
5. Bolts, bracket to body.
6. Sensor with bracket.
7. Bracket from sensor.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Bracket to sensor, and tighten nuts to 1.4 Nm (12 inch lbs.).
2. Bracket with sensor to body, and tighten bolts to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
3. Link to sensor actuating arm, and then to control arm.
4. Electrical connector to body harness. Then snap connector to upper hole in underbody.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Follow steps, refer to "Height Sensor Adjustment."
